I got to know Ken and Mary Ann while serving as Country Director for Food for the Hungry. Ken was Country Director for Nicaragua and we worked together on joint projects. We found we had many shared interests and enjoyed spending time together.

Later they returned to Arizona and became friends with our son Daniel and his family.
