The pictures are roughly organized chronologically. Our life was defined by chapters where God sent us for different periods of our lives.
Early life – There are few pictures we could find of MJ’s childhood. This period includes college days, meeting Phill and falling in love, brief times in Arizona and California for schooling. The birth of Kevin and Nathan.
Ecuador – Our first missionary times were spent in Ecuador. We had 12 wonderful years there and both Scott and Daniel were born in Quito. The children’s first school experiences and making friends took place there. For that reason to this day our children consider Quito as “home.”
California – The mission assigned us back to California to work at the US Center for World Missions on a special project. We were there for 6 years.
Indiana – God directed us to take a leave of absence from missions and move to Indiana to be closer to parents and to help them in their years of failing health.
Guatemala – The call to overseas service was strong and God again called us to serve in Latin America. This time with another mission in a different kind of service.
The Grands – MJ had to wait until he sons went out and found their brides to have daughters to invest in. She loved them as much as her own offspring. Together they gave her 13 wonderful grandchildren divided between the four families. They are literally spread all over the world. MJ would love on them every time she had a chance to do so.
Miscellaneous – This is an assortment of interesting shots that did not fit the other categories.
